4-valve, liquid-cooled, DTS-i Engine
This high-revving, liquid-cooled, 4-valve short-stroke single-cylinder engine is equipped with revolutionary DTS-i (Digital Triple Sparkplug ignition). This system uses three sparkplugs for dramatically improved combustion efficiency and high performance. And thanks to the efficient combustion, fuel consumption is very low.
In addition to contributing to the muscular-looking front of the Rouser 200NS, the high-rigidity perimeter frame delivers stable, confidence-inspiring handling. Cornering stability is also excellent due to its high lateral stiffness. Large, supersport-style spars of the perimeter frame further add to the bike’s sporty looks. The combination of the steel perimeter frame and a stiff, rectangular tube-section swing-arm gives very high torsional rigidity.
Stable handling gives the machine the ride comfort and feel of a larger machine. The muffler and other heavy items are located close to the engine for mass centralisation, contributing to the bike’s well-balanced handling characteristics.
