The company started back in 1968, when its founder Jesus V. Del Rosario established DeIsa Industrial Corporation with Sakata Shokai, Ltd. Six years after, a collaboration was born when Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries became a joint venture partner.
As a growing and continuously evolving organization, the company embraced numerous changes, including new headquarters and a new name -- Kawasaki Motors Philippines Corporation. In 1996, the passing of the reins to Kawasaki Heavy Industries furthered reinforced the growth and development of the company.
Through the years, Kawasaki Motors Philippines has built its reputation in the heavy duty business bikes segment through tricycles --- Kawasaki Barako and the CT series, and eventually, even in the solo segment with the release of Fury, Rouser, and the latest brand under Regular Bikes, the Dominar.
The company is now also growing their leisure bikes segment with the release of their flagship lines such as the Ninja, Versys, Vulcan, W series, and Z series.

Kawasaki Motors Philippines Corporation’s 50th anniversary grand celebration was attended by 500 guests composed of employees, business partners, media and celebrity endorsers. Held at Okada Manila last July 6, 2018, hosted by multimedia motoring journalist and host, James Deakin and Tawag ng Tanghalan hurado, singer and comedienne, K Brosas.
